- Dr. Marion takes safety seriously and he and his staff go well above the necessary OSHA standards for the security and wellbeing of all patients and staff. Every room in the office has HEPA medical-grade filtration device and every evening the office is bathed in UV-C antiviral and antibacterial light to provide the cleanest environment possible. Likewise, the office has its own air filtration system and does not rely on that of typical multi-occupancy buildings that recycle air from elsewhere. High speed evacuation is always used and, with the environment in mind, Dr. Marion’s office was one of the first Philadelphia dental practices to install a Solmetex NXT heavy metal filtration system. This prevents any reintroduction of harmful removed mercury fillings into the common sewer system. Additionally, all operatory water supplies are individual delivery systems using distilled purified water to minimize biofilms.
